Leisure walks with the 'Boys'

Every couple of months the "Boys" get together to have a days walking. This usually is further a field than others we may have done with family and, unless we are up a mountain or some other location away from civilization, we will usually spend lunchtime at a "Pub". We have visited some good pubs. In fact we have been rarely disappointed with the food, drink or the service. Although we were not very happy when we visited a "Pub" at Ebrington in the Cotswold to find that they had sold out of Steak and Kidney Pie which is a favourite "Pub Grub". Still the beer was fine according to Mick, who is our expert on such matters.

Larry is always keen to get to the "Pub" and is very fond of alcohol. He was very disappointed when he found that Tryfan and the Glyders was "barren" of such facilities.

Details of a few of our favourite walks can be accessed by clicking below the links on the left.

December 2008 Update.

In recent months it is regrettable that with other commitments (Larry is now married and Mick, like Peter, is now a granddad) and ageing legs, the opportunity and ability to have regular walks is diminishing. However, opportunities will still be possible, I hope, and anything of interest will be reported on.
